General Terms and Conditions for Alterations & Custom-Made Products
§1 Scope
These terms and conditions apply exclusively to the business relationship between Atelier Wichert and its customers.
By placing an order, the customer accepts our terms and conditions. We do not recognize any conflicting or deviating terms and conditions and hereby expressly object to them. Any conflicting terms and conditions of the customer are only valid if we expressly agree to them in writing.

§3 Conclusion of Contract
We accept orders in writing, by email, by telephone and in person.
We will only provide written confirmation upon the customer's explicit request. The same applies to additions, amendments, or supplementary agreements. In the case of immediate or short-notice delivery or service, the invoice may replace the written confirmation.
§4 Alteration service, custom-made products and special orders
For hygiene reasons, we ask that you only have garments altered that have been cleaned beforehand. All alteration offers are non-binding and do not obligate us to accept the order. We alter clothing according to the customer's measurements but assume no liability for any errors in the alteration. Please note that subsequent alterations are possible. Cost sharing or reimbursement depends on the individual case. Complaints will only be accepted within 7 days of the collection date. Acceptance of everyday clothing, custom-made items, and special orders is the customer's responsibility. We do not offer a warranty for goods manufactured by third parties. Damage caused by improper handling by the customer does not give rise to any claim against our atelier.
§5 Prices and Payment Terms
All our prices include 19% VAT and are subject to change without notice. For alterations, custom-made items, or special orders not listed in the price list, a base hourly rate of €60.00 (plus 19% VAT) will be charged. A surcharge of 30% will be added for work on leather, fur, and faux fur. A travel fee of €30.00 will be charged for on-site consultations and measurements.
Our invoices are payable in cash and in advance without deduction. In exceptional cases, our invoices are payable within 7 days without deduction. Should the buyer default on payment, we are entitled to charge default interest at the statutory rate. Should we demonstrably incur higher damages due to the payment default, we are entitled to claim these damages.
§6 Collection delay
We accept no liability for altered garments that are not collected within 3 months and are released from further storage obligations. Garments stored with us for longer than 3 months without any notification will either be taken to clothing donation bins or otherwise disposed of.
